We are always looking for volunteers to help Heartland Horse Heroes!

You do not need to have horse experience and there are many ways to help:

If you are interested in volunteering with us, please read through our Volunteer Handbook and Policy Manual. Then you can fill out the Volunteer Application when you attend a Volunteer Orientation.

If you are a new volunteer to the program, please email us so we can arrange for you to attend a volunteer orientation.

More Ways to Help

Donate to Heartland Horse Heroes

Join our effort to "Raise the Roof" for Heartland Horse Heroes! We are striving to construct an indoor arena for our program and we cannot do it with you. The indoor arena will help prevent cancellation of programs, minimize distractions for our young students, those with ADD and Autism especially, and allow more services to be provided to the community such as volunteer trainings, instructor continuing education clinics, and fundraisers for HHH to remain sustainable.

You can easily donate via our Go Fund Me page which you can find here . We appreciate you helping us "Raise the Roof" and supporting Heartland Horse Heroes!

There are many additional ways to donate Heartland Horse Heroes. Below is our current wishlist of items for our program. You are welcome to donate these items or make monetary donations towards these items:

$2,100 - Insurance for HHH for one year
$500- Cost of yearly arena maintenance (footing, fencing etc.)
$400- Sponsor a student for a 10 week session
$300- Sponsor a therapy horse for 1 month
$150- Adaptive riding equipment
- Riding helmets
- Rainbow stirrup leathers and safety stirrups
